The Koestler Trust is the UK’s leading prison arts charity. Following a successful pilot project, we are looking to recruit more volunteer arts mentors to work with recently released prisoners. Mentors will carry out ten community-based arts mentoring sessions over twelve months. We give our mentors full training and support, but it is our mentors’ energy, arts expertise and organisational skills that are helping us find out if the arts make a real difference in the rehabilitation of offenders.
We are looking for visual artists, photographers, writers, poets and musicians across England and Wales.
