OCM Bocas Prize for Caribbean Literature 2011

The OCM Bocas Prize for Caribbean Literature is an annual award for literary books by Caribbean writers.
The panel of judges will choose the best book from submissions in three categories: poetry; fiction (novels and collections of short stories); and literary non-fiction (including books of essays, biography and autobiography, history, current affairs, travel, and other genres that demonstrate literary qualities). (Textbooks, technical books, coffee-table books, and reference works are not eligible.)
The winning author will receive a prize of US$10,000, to be presented on Saturday, 30 April 2011.
A book may be entered in only one category. Publishers must get authorsʼ consent for entry.
December, 2010, must be received by 5 January, 2011.
