CSAS Alert: View London Action Trust film online

At the invitation of LGA Safer Communities conference organisers, London Action Trust (LAT) has made a 5 minute film showcasing its work around reducing knife crime in the capital, focussing in particular on the work of the well established Community Safety Advisory Service (CSAS) and LAT’s new Waltham Forest Gang Intervention Project launched July this year.

The film features brief interviews with LAT Director, John Trainor, CSAS Development Manager Vicky Torrance and Cllr Merrick Cockell, Chair of London Councils, alongside beneficiaries of LAT and CSAS services, including Lynne Booker, founder of the Terry Booker Foundation, who’s son Terry was murdered through knife crime in 2000.

The film was shown as an example of best practice at this years LGA Safer Communities conference, and can now be viewed on the News section of the Local Government Channel website. We’ve packed a lot into our five minutes of fame, we hope you enjoy it!

Please click here to view the film. Please note that you won’t be able to leave comments on the Local Government Channel website. However if you wish to let us know what you think please send your comments to: [email protected]
